We are delighted to announce that this year's social event will be hosted at Nelsons, a plant based wine bar, restaurant and venue just down the hill from the Birchcliffe Centre, in the middle of Hebden Bridge town centre. This will feature DJ sets from Loula Yorke — who is also giving a talk at Festival Day — and Cosmic Jane. There will be an excellent selection of drinks available and of course Nelsons famously fantastic vegan food. Please see their website for details of the menu.

The social is not ticketed and the event is open to all. However, Nelsons is a popular venue and in an effort to help ensure that those coming along to Festival Day can get a table at which to eat, we have a block booking for part of the venue. With limited tables the way this will work is that a dinner reservation ticket can be purchased and then redeemed on the evening for £10 credit towards the food bill.
