Which may sound like a fairly esoteric topic, but is something that has endless applications and has made a huge impact on our lives. In short, it allows you to ascertain the amount and type of chemicals in a sample, with great sensitivity and accuracy.

Whilst there is a lot of clever stuff going on inside a mess spectrometer, fortunately for us, Giles is an excellent science communicator. Fingers crossed and Demo Gods permitting, there will be a live demo also! More on this in due course...
