About Wuthering Bytes

Wuthering Bytes started in 2013 when Andrew Back and Tim Harbour got together in a pub and came up with the crazy idea of putting on a festival of interesting and inspiring technology in the small market town of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire.

Every year it seems to get bigger and better. A particular highlight for me was firing a rocket engine in 2014. The cloud of smoke floated across town and it sounded like a 747 was taking off.

You should definitely come along, it's fun!

From setting off rocket engines to sending balloons to the edge of space and live particle accelerating, We've done some amazing stuff over the last few years.
You should come along, it's fun!
